Just Pictures

Sunday Morning w/ Dad

7:00am… happy.

Good News!

Yesterday I went to my 20-week appointment for the “big” ultrasound. My iPhoto program isn’t working right now, or I’d post a picture, but the good news is that the placenta has moved and I am no longer considered at-risk for placenta previa. Woo-hoo.

We took Olivia with us because we thought that she would enjoy being a big girl and getting to see the baby kick around. Well, not so much. The blue gel they put on you when you get an ultrasound was waaaaay more interesting. I’m not sure that she even looked at the screen. Oh well. At least we tried to to make a moment of it.

And, NO, we did not find out what we are having. It’s not even on our chart and the Doc said that she didn’t even know what the tech saw. There’s no turning back now.

I’ll get a picture up soon.

Thanks for the prayers.

Home Days

By the end of a day at home with Mom, the girls are usually asking about their friends and Ms. Ashley, but for the most part, it’s the most relaxed day of the week. Our day is pretty unscheduled and the girls have to rely on each other for entertainment so we have a lot of giggles and a fair share of tears. So far, so good.

Coming Soon. . .

Wonder who will be the first to comment?

As a whole, the motherhood thing is a pretty great thing. I like reading bedtime stories, making skirts twirl, playing with Polly Pockets, and even answering the question “why..” 84, 000 times a day. But potty training, I do not like. I hate it. My sweet, darling, oldest child was halfway to boarding school by the time we finished potty training. She was over the age of three. Which is why this sort of ticks me off.

She’s 19 months old. I am soooo not ready to do this again.
